ADHA is participating in the event under the Abu Dhabi Government’s pavilion
The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) is showcasing its latest digital services and initiatives aimed at advancing the housing sector in the Emirate during its participation at GITEX Global 2024. The event, renowned for highlighting cutting-edge innovations from key international technology organisations, also provides an opportunity to explore new advancements that can elevate the government housing sector and enhance the overall experience for citizens in Abu Dhabi.
ADHA is participating in the event under the Abu Dhabi Government’s pavilion, where it is offering an immersive, comprehensive digital experience for visitors to engage with their housing journey. This includes the entire process, from submitting applications to accessing housing benefits through the ‘ISKAN Abu Dhabi’ app. Additionally, ADHA has partnered with Teyaseer, a company that provides free services to beneficiaries of housing loan programs. Through this partnership, citizens can seamlessly navigate the home-building process using Teyaseer’s digital platform, which provides comprehensive services covering all stages of construction, from identifying requirements to the final delivery of the house.
Interactive Digital Housing Platform
ISKAN Abu Dhabi, the interactive digital housing platform, offers an extensive range of services that cater to the diverse housing needs of citizens in Abu Dhabi. These services include assisting beneficiaries in application submissions, obtaining approvals for land and housing benefits without any paperwork or visiting service centres. The platform also facilitates approvals for land and housing benefits, registration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), and the issuance of property bonds through the user-friendly application. Additionally, ISKAN Abu Dhabi assists citizens in completing the Financial Literacy Program offered by the Department of Government Enablement, opening loan accounts with banks, and applying for additional loans.
The application consolidates all the government housing services in Abu Dhabi into one platform, integrating data, systems, and processes from 27 different public and private entities, including data providers and service providers. This integration aims to simplify and streamline the process for citizens seeking housing benefits. Citizens can access a variety of government housing services and track their application status directly through the platform. The app also offers detailed information on housing services and eligibility criteria, allowing citizens to select plots of land and properties via interactive maps based on their needs and preferences. Its range of interactive features further enhances the overall user experience.
‘Expressing Interest’ Service
ADHA is set to introduce a new feature on its digital platform, enabling citizens to ‘express’ their housing preferences for current and future locations and projects. By registering their interest, they will receive priority access to housing benefits in the selected areas, provided they meet ADHA’s criteria.
Moreover, this service will also help the government optimise resource allocation by concentrating housing developments in areas with high citizen demand. The feature is expected to officially launch before the end of the year.
‘Residential Land Exchange’ Service
ADHA seeks to enhance its offerings by introducing automated systems for the residential land exchange between citizens, making the entire process fully digital. Additionally, the Authority is working to expand this service by allowing eligible citizens to choose from a range of available land options for exchange. These options will be presented to citizens directly or sourced from the government inventory. The entire process can now be completed through the ISKAN Abu Dhabi application.
H.E. Hamad Hareb AlMuhairi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said: “The Authority’s participation in the GITEX Global 2024 comes as a key part of our strategy to showcase our digital offerings and forthcoming smart solutions, designed to streamline access of housing benefits for citizens.”
“GITEX provides an ideal platform for engaging with stakeholders and specialists, gathering feedback from the public regarding ADHA’s services, and ensuring our services continue to meet the evolving needs of our community. This aligns with our strategic vision of creating a sustainable housing system that fosters family cohesion and stability,” H.E. added.
Teyaseer’s Services
Housing services are provided to assist individuals in building their own homes, offering guidance throughout the entire process, from initial requirements to the final handover by monitoring each stage of construction through its smart application. This service includes identifying housing construction requirements using a home design tool or opting for pre-designed layouts that align with the preferences and aspirations of citizens. Users can also choose consultants and contractors from Tayseer’s approved list, evaluate designs and proposals, and track construction progress through on-site visits. Detailed reports are generated to help citizens make well-informed decisions until the completion and handover of their homes.
